Clothes, cars, and mo,
We keep it all in the party,
Of friends and family, everybody,

Hi, friends of my blog and passer-bys, It’s January and and a New Year, it’s time to get fly. I just want to take the time to welcome you to a new month, more great works and things to do things month. How are you planning to spend your January? So this month, ideally I don’t try to do too much, it’s like cramming too much expectations in a single month and with everyone trying to do the same, you are bound to fail or forget. Release a Music Video for (500 Ones, Whole Bars, My Woes, Busy, Girls or NYC)
Release a Visual Art Video for (any poem from the NEMESIS project)
Write a poem every day…
Start my Interview series for Poets, Spoken Word Artists, Writers…

So these are my goals for the month. It really does sound like a lot plus there is more to them all. But there is 24 hours in each day and time management and absolute focus is needed to achieve goals, so work hard for the things you want.

Hi, friends of my blog and passer-bys, It’s 2017 and if you are reading this, then you made it. let’s celebrate and welcome in a new year. I always start my year with fresh inspiration and a few goals, some simple and some out of this world. I figure if you are going to live, you want to aim high and then see how far the world will take you. You must also know that you won’t achieve anything unless you try. I don’t do resolutions, I hate to use buzz word or cliche words and terms, but I do have goals and challenges. So take a look at my list:

I figured this is the best fitting song for 2016. John Legend is a beautiful artist and this sound says it all. We all go into a new year saying how it’s going to be the best and etc… But hey things are always going to happen, some planned and unplanned. 🙂

Hi, it’s jixi… Well 2016 is over, and I am here to say Thank You to all my friends and family here. See you in the new year -> 2017.
But before we are off to the races in 2017, here is my 2016 review…
I released 5 projects in one year -> Nemesis, The Burna Effect, Heart Lies, I’m Feeling You and Nemesis 2…
I performed 3 times in one day, in 3 cities (technically) brooklyn, bronx, manhattan…in New York City.
I was featured on a Music App in the App Store…
I took part in Make Music Day, June 21st for the 1st time… 6/21/2016. Make Music 10th Anniversary.
I performed at a few new venues around new york city.
I released a mini book with great reviews for Nemesis.
You can say it was a good & hard year for me creatively, and I believe all things happen for a reason.
Thank you 2016 for your mischievous way, but you truly have me confirmed and secure in my decisions and career goals.

It seems like it’s all down hill from now,
But I challenge that,
For that’s not a fact,
Unless we play into that,
We got the power to change,
Maybe you can’t see it,
It might take us taking on some pain,
But through my eyes,
I got over 10,000 hours of brain,
To change me,
Be ready for most situation in any category,
Why did we wait so long to do better,
Why did we not consider protection,
Until it was the worse weather?
Well I have always been prepping,
Even when it was unnerving,
I been learning and practicing,
For that is where the action is,
So what is it we are going to do now?
Well for me, like every day,
I will be helping my people and make a difference,
Small or big,
I am in it to win,
