WHERE IS WALDO?

What’s up tonight?
Is anyone scheming?
Are you laying in bed,
Getting ready to start dreaming?
Are you on the grind,
Just because your are fiending,
To go shopping on the weekend,
To make it an epic weekend as the week ends,
I know they are looking for you,
But you ghosted,
Just let them know,
Without really posting,
Your location service will expose you,
You are too far gone traveling,
Shipped away, cruising,
Better yet you are coasting.

I write stories through poetry and lyrics. I want your imagination to explode, and explore word play, and catchy lines. I work hard for those quick smiles. That’s absolutely one of the reasons I write.

In this story: I have set a sail. I am nowhere and everywhere. There are going to be moments you just want to disappear, whether having fun, traveling, in bed cuddled up, or just locked in a focused on making money. Of course there may be people looking for you, but unless you hit them up or on social media posting, they pretty much is asking, where is waldo?

*note: In this story you are waldo.

TETRIS

As my life troubles,
Slowly comes down falling,
I am sending them crashing,
And disappearing often,
These building blocks,
That keep me up at night,
My fingers are twitching,
My eyes going everywhere,
Trying to keep things going right,
Then the blocks start falling fast,
I can’t handle,
My mind is everywhere,
I am in such of a scramble,
Wishing for a pause,
Or a long block,
Maybe even a Z or a L,
Oh man if I don’t beat this high record,
I feel I may end up in jail.

RESIDENT EVIL

I am so real estate,
I own property,
I live in penthouse suites,
Because I don’t want anyone on top of me,
My residents are evil,
Because most of them are stars,
They got me wilding each day,
I have to spit these 16 bars,
I drive in fast cars,
But then I end up crashing,
Trying to leave the city of raccoon,
You definitely will see me dashing,
I am hashing it out with the nemesis,
I don’t know when I am going,
To see the end of this,
So I am penning this,
Just get the typewriter to finish my sentences,
I need to cure myself with herbs,
The zombies are chasing my tale,
Mutation got them looking,
Broken down and pale,
I tell ‘em to eat kale,
So they can be healthy,
The army and scientists selling dna to get wealthy,
Or it could be just for war,
I know I have to run away,
If another undead thing chase me down,
I have a RPG coming their way. POW 💥🤯

LAST OF US

Whether I am Joel or Ellie,
I am getting to the heart or the belly,
Don’t be silly,
I am solving puzzles in the dark,
While you stand around being silly willy,
So don’t make a sound,
Silence is golden,
The struggle is real,
It’s all about survival,
When you become the best to ever do it,
You are labeled an icon,
You can’t be suicidal,
And go out in the blaze of glory,
We all know that,
Will be the end to your story,
So get together your courage and gear,
And make you a shiv,
If you got that,
You need to melee yourself to live,
But if it’s time to go,
And you know the game can’t be won,
Take everyone out, NAIL BOMB. BOOM!.

NO REVERSE – #FREEVERSE #FRIDAY #POETRY

NO REVERSE

I chase myself,
As my mind run away,
I need to be locked and focused,
No time to play,
I can’t reverse time,
Especially if I have the right of way,
Interceptions interjection,
I didn’t come here to play,
Stay out of my way,
I beg of you,
So please do,
I running the game these days,
Watch me breeze through.

I write stories through poetry and lyrics. I want your imagination to explode, and explore word play, and catchy lines. I work hard for those quick smiles. That’s absolutely one of the reasons I write.

In this story: I don’t want to procrastinate, I don’t want to go backwards. In life we tend to reach a limit or height and stop. We are not curious enough to break past the ceiling. It’s as not passing the ceiling is like another way to trap ourselves to stay there is no more we can do. Get up off your booty and do more. If more people give up, guess what, less competition for you to go forth.

A STAR IN THE SKY

My nemesis says,
I can let believe that’s you,
I am like who me,
They like yea you,
Grab your plate,
Finish your food,
I am like,
Let me get a napkin,
To wipe my face,
I don’t want to be rude.

I can’t believe,
You are living your dreams,
Reigning supreme,
Looking so fresh,
And so clean,
You ain’t even mean,
You happy,
Your hair is black,
And also nappy,
Your rhymes are extra rappy,
Always on the chat,
They calling you snappy,
You are all over the globe,
They calling you mappy,
You crack me up,
You are extra sappy,
Saying the most wonderful things,
You invite me to every win,
You teach everyone,
From your losses,
People oh so wish,
You were their boss,
And
A best friend,
You so kind,
Got damn,
I am your fan,
I was like,
C’mon,
You got me blushing,
I speak many languages,
Including Russian,
I rush yards,
I come out at night,
I am your star.

In this story: People appreciate you more than you know. It may seem like hate, but it’s envy. Sometimes the smallest thing about you, have other react in unpredictable manners. You can be humble, and be real, be you and stay true. You might be the star in the sky that they look to. Keep doing you.

OPEN SPACE

Open the space,
Let me in,
I pray for my failures,
I pray for my sins,
I am all in,
Taking every single risk,
If you don’t see me,
My assets you will miss,
Kiss your dream goodbye,
I taking you for a ride,
Hop in the vessel,
There is no sleeping inside,
We are destined for fun,
And add more travelers as we go,
We are taking off to new adventures,
It’s time for us to explore…

I am lacking any fear,
I am ready to stand up for myself,
I always got my on my gear,
Trouble swarms like bees,
But I got the smoke,
Nightmare comes when I sleep,
But not once I am awoken.

HELLO JUNE!

Happy June, it’s the month of motion. I found an awesome poem I wrote a few years ago and I wanted to share. I just love how the flow is. It’s to know best time is upon us June, July and August. The summer is right around the corner and fun needs to be had.

J is for June,
Are you ready for the summer?
It’s hot outside now,
Let’s wait for about an hour,
Until everything cools,
Down I go right in the pool,
I don’t have to worry about getting back home soon,
School is over and so are the rules,
Time to let loose,
Call up my friends,
Ask them where we about to hang,
Everywhere is cool,
Let’s go out and do our thang,
The weather is nice,
I see smiles from cheek to cheek,
It’s summer time now,
And I just want to be happy.
