Too Late

Looked over at the clock, damn I am late,
Why the hell did I got to bed so late,
My boss said if I’m late again fired I will be,
I jumped out of the bed, too cold, I went back to sleep,

It’s me and my kitty cat laid under the sheet,
We snuggled up and tired, don’t bother us please,
Too late to make breakfast too late to for coffee,
I roll over and text my boss, I’m going be late again, sorry.
