I tried to cook up a remedy,
But I didn’t know the recipe,
I tried to wipe the tears away,
But only stained the walls,
I wanted just an average life,
But got something far from it,
The options I have been given,
I can’t stand them,
I want to flip,
But hold a grip,
Conflicted in my sense of needs,
My reality bleeds on my paper,
No pen, just a pencil with lead,
Hope to erase the things I didn’t mean to say,
Where has life gone,
I have grown,
But still ain’t gone no where,
I will chase my dreams,
But I really need to take it head on straight,
Drink drink drink,
Until the bottle is empty,
If I fall asleep,
The closer I will be to my dreams,
Or hell.
