SPOKEN WORD THURSDAY: PACING

Steadily pacing,
No racing,
No hasting,
I am basing,
All my efforts and goals,
To compete with my flow,
Aiming and got hope,
Just in case I don’t got dough,
I am much more than a number or stat,
I am gunning for the cheese,
But I am not a rat,
On flats I run,
Even though I want to hop,
Each fly sneakers I want,
So of course I have to cop,
I am drop in,
I am looking a wife,
To be with me alright,
All night we lock in,
Watching reality tv,
Nothing of our emotions blocked in,
We express we digest,
We never stress,
We invest into each other,
I greet every week with a new flower,
The hour is right,
I might score tonight,
I am playing soccer,
Videogames lit,
Hands on the gamepad joystick,
Winning away,
Imagining me drifting away,
To a new stay,
New country, new town,
Always with a smile,
No frown,
Enjoying the escape,
Took about 1,000 pictures today,
Memories created,
I am so much to reflect,
Went back home,
Work my ass off,
Give me my check….

How to start things,
But I will show you how I end things,
Don’t envy,
I move fast,
I am flexible,
You can’t bend me,
Lend me your ear,
Open up,
I stay clean dripping,
In the shower soaping up,
Vision is everything,
Hope alone is not enough.

AMETHYST

The meaning of Amethyst is spiritual healing, calmness, and wisdom.

Invite in the light,
To your soul,
Allow your spiritual healing,
To be bold,
Hold on,
And stay calm,
Gain more wisdom,
As time goes on.

We need to spend more time in our healing. Life carries so much burdens and baggages we sometimes don’t even know we are carrying. At times our moods, or quest may change, and we haven’t let go of things of the past of addressed them at all. This is just a reminder to seek that healing and calmness while the world may feel so heavy on your shoulders, and over time gain more wisdom on one self, and ways to be better for you and your future obstacles.

TAKING FLIGHTS | TRAVEL

SHOULD I DO A YEAR IN REVIEW POST? HMMM

I have been going back and forth if I should do a year in review series, and I couldn’t decide for a while. But I am pretty clear I need to. For me, writing is therapy and a way to document my actions, moments, success, failures, and more. I am not ashamed of my failures or lost motions in which a lot of those happen this year. But in the end I learned tremendously and evolved as a human being so much, I am thankful of the process.

So how my Year In Review typical goes. I have posts like, the best or top tv shows, music, wins, losses, best achievement, best investments, best moments, and like favorite photos of the year, and come up with like a quote of caption that sums up the year.

I helps open up conversation with others and share moment that meant a lot to me.

Let me know if you do a reflection of your year in life, and journal about it or jot down the good and bad. 🙂

SPOKENWORD THURSDAY: HOW MUCH THERAPY DO I NEED?

Haven’t felt so lost,
Though I feel so deceived,
The only thing I need is me,
All the advertising I see,
Create a belief of what I need,
But the only thing I really need,
Is me,
How lost is lost,
Maybe going to therapy,
Will help me find them,
I walk this earth eyes wide open,
But feeling like a blind man,
What’s next,
What’s that,
Who did what,
Who dating who,
Just a few of the pools,
I feel I get sunken into,
How deep is the cut,
For me to know how bad the bleed,
The only person I need is me,
Free my mind,
Open my senses,
Never fake my cries,
You can’t finish my sentences,
I need help,
Only the deaf,
Seem to be the only ones that hear my screams,
For it’s not just my voice,
But looking into my actions,
To see what they truly mean,
The things I go through,
Are constant for me,
As it is for others,
If I don’t find help,
Who knows what follows,
I don’t just need me,
I need others too,
That believe and encourage me,
Commit to the follow up,
And the follow through,
And truly sees me.

*Note: I been reading a few articles recently about male suicide numbers rising, and links to mental health problems, relationship problems, arguments and other personal crisis. I was inspired to write this piece for suicide and mental health awareness. Even though these goes for all humans are a very big problem, and you never what someone is going through day to day. The struggles for people tend to run deep and also not, for a trigger or a stressor for you may be light, but for someone else it’s heavy. I truly hope we help others find help, and check in on our friends, family, co-workers, with warm thoughts and positive affirmations that may lighten their days.
