Can’t Run Away Fast Enough | Spoken Word Poetry

Posted on February 6, 2025February 7, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Aiming high,
Never catching the lows,
Moving fast,
But breathing slow,
I let go,
I run and chase,
But there is no base,
Feet heavy,
It’s hard to get away.

Key Only I Had The Key | Haiku

Posted on February 5, 2025February 5, 2025 by Jixi Fox

If I had the key,
Would the locked door call for me?
Or stay silent still?

Why I Don’t Mess With You | Free Verse Poetry | Stories

Posted on January 31, 2025January 31, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Mayday, it’s going down; the plan ain’t working; you need to abort the mission. There is a collision of time and rhyme, and what I have found is the reason why, I just don’t mess with you.

Free Verse Poetry

Left the house late for a date,
I said meet me at the gym,
My pull-up game was awesome,
But I didn’t a have spotter,
So I got small-talked by the guy that can’t talk,
I walked by the woman that can’t walk,
Either way she was gaining reps,
She is never off beat or missed a step,
Wet is how I wanted to be,
Dripping in sweat,
Yea,
I didn’t say I was going to taste good,
Booked a class,
Paid for a ticket for a guest,
But I was guest-less,
I suggest to my angry self,
To hide when that call comes in,
Hey are you headed to the gym,
But my devilish side kicked in,
With a grin,
For the very moment,
Answer the call and say,
Each day you remind me,
Of why I don’t mess with you,
You are lame, always late,
Always wants a ride,
But never ready at the gate,
So fate, told me to delete your number,
And maybe switch phones,
If you can’t hear anything I say after this,
Just know,
dead ass! dial tone.

Gentle Releases | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 29, 2025January 30, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Let the wind guides your thoughts, let them flow likes leaves falling to the ground. The world will open up to hear the words you were meant to say in silence.

HAIKU

Worry less, breathe deep,
Leaves fall without asking why,
Wind cradles their peace.

Have you ever watched leaves fall?

Might As Well

Posted on January 26, 2025January 27, 2025 by Jixi Fox

The feeling of complete is great. I wish more people feel this way. But here is how I help others achieve this. You might as well try and fail than fail without doing anything.

Lost My Way | Micropoem

Posted on January 25, 2025 by Jixi Fox

I lost my way, trying to get back. I know what is real, it doesn’t take a genius to tell that. I keep the passion a blaze, never phrased by the unknown. Grown far enough, I can find my way home.

Coming back home to you.

The Way That She Lays There, Sexy | Spoken Word Poetry

Posted on January 23, 2025January 23, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Spoken Word Poetry

Like art spilled across the canvas of my bed,
A masterpiece in motion, even when she’s still.
Oh my, the way she owns the silence,
It’s louder than any moan I’ve ever heard.

I want to dive into her fantasy,
Touching the corners of her mind like fingertips on poetry.
Every sigh is a lyric, every shift a bassline,
And I’m connected to the song of her being,

Her vibe got me reeling,
I am caught in a fantasy,
A place where time don’t ticks,
But is a melody of her breathing,
Singing softly in my ear,

The bed becomes our universe,
Where the stars are her curves
And I’m orbiting her gravity,
Drawn by the pull of her attraction.
I’m in love with her essence,
The way she turns the mundane into magic.

Even the shower ain’t just water and steam;
It’s a symphony of satisfaction,
Her silhouette dancing in droplets,
My happiness dripping with every second.

She’s the kind of woman who doesn’t just lay there,
She lays claim
To the air, to the moment,
To the very fabric of my being.

Craving Dance | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 22, 2025January 22, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Most days I let loose, and while I feel the groove, the melody has me tipsy, allowing me to crash out on the dance floor. So I hold on for dear life, like life has all the power to keep me up, when I really want to get down with my bad self and show off into the night. Tomorrow may be another episode of what did I do last night? For which, your friends will always have pictures. 🙂

HAIKU

Waves seduce the shore,
Lick the edges, bite the sand,
Moonlight pulls them close.

Insert The Gems | Micro Poem

Posted on January 17, 2025 by Jixi Fox

I have been bending waves for days, kool aid colors I could never catch a fade. I raid and a rebel, but never going to jail. I am free to be me, while I let go, others inhale.

You can take back the lost promises to self.
