The Best Ripple Effects In Life | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 15, 2025January 15, 2025 by Jixi Fox

In life, there are things we do that cause a ripple effect. There can be good results and bad results. But until you try, you won’t know. We dream of only positive outcomes, but we know sometimes destiny has a different calling.

HAIKU

Tiny steps echo,
Big effect on winds unseen,
Dreams walk away free.

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

What is something you have done that created a ripple effect?

Caught Exposed | Emotional Pieces| Spoken Word Poetry

Posted on January 10, 2025January 10, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Exposed From The Inside

Inside,
Things were changing,
I didn’t know,
Until everything was outside,
I have been exposed,
Without clothes,
With my woes,
My heart strings,
Being pulled,
I am not in control,
Anymore.

A Love Storm | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 8, 2025January 9, 2025 by Jixi Fox

Love, Like a Storm

Clouds crash, skies tremble,
Raindrops race down broken glass,
Hearts rebuild below.

When love just causes chaos and more heartache, what do you do?

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

When was the last time love hurt you?

Inside Me | Life Exposed

Posted on January 5, 2025 by Jixi Fox

No matter the chatter,

I put my finger to lips,

To pause all talks,

Of no kind words that exist,

Creeping away from my pain,

I bury them in books,

Couldn’t see me outside,

Even when by the window,

I didn’t even look.

When the world doesn’t know what’s inside, you hide, so it won’t be on display, until someone save you from yourself, then you outside of thoughts, not locked in.

Lust In The Middle | Exotic Poem | Free Verse Poetry

Posted on January 3, 2025January 3, 2025 by Jixi Fox

“Lusting Into The Deep”

As the night leans in, fully frontal,
No shame in its naked glow,
Every shadow stores a kiss, for which is placed below.
Sitting beneath the weight of stars,
Where each voyeur goes further into the distance,
As if they, too, cannot escape gravity,

The moon high and brazen,
Illuminates every curve of thought in sight,
Dragging secrets from dark corners,
Laying them bare across velvet skies.

There is no hiding within reach, no silk to cover desires,
Your name lingers, stitched into the air,
Each letter curling with allure,
A whisper that tastes like honey,

Melting slowly, seeping deep inside my skin,
What is this feeling?
Even silence has a pulse tonight.
Its rhythm tracing the lines of my breath,
Pushing me further so I can melt,
The soft surrender where ache meets satisfaction,
And I let it pull me under.

Time loses itself in moments like this.
Where the body remembers what the heart forgets.
And the night blooms again, fully open,
Like lips waiting to be kissed.

Woven Days | Haiku | Poetry

Posted on January 1, 2025January 2, 2025 by Jixi Fox
Woven

“Woven Days”

Busy winds collide,

Woes dance with the highs and lows,

Time hums soft goodbyes.

Some days I can’t fight the woes; I run away from the highs and the lows. When my life has found more purposes, I froze, until fresh air blew to unlock my toes so I can walk again.

*Let me know your thoughts on the poem in the comments!

What a high in your life that gives you energy to continue your journey?

Less Is More!

Posted on December 28, 2024 by Jixi Fox

Shave some things off that to do list, and complete some tasks fully!

This is a reminder to be kind to yourself, don’t over stress, but impress yourself with grace and understanding.

Do I Get A Kiss At The End? | #Poetry | #Love

Posted on December 20, 2024January 4, 2025 by Jixi Fox
How I chase dreams

I am always looking at whips I can’t buy,
Wishing I get the life I wanted,
Because of the right contracts I did not sign,
I think I will be fine,
Just bottled up hope,
Not laughing anytime soon,
But people think it’s a joke,
I just want to disappear,
And then reappear,
Just to see if anyone missed me,
If that girl I wanted so bad will ever kiss me,
Realistically, I think she might can do better,
I am still in this storm that I weathered.
