IF I WERE…A STAR
I would be a shooting star,
A special beam of light,
Only appearing in special moments,
Or moments I am called upon,
To shed some light on someone’s life,
Be a breather of fresh air to breathe in,
I would be who they look up to,
For I may just be the closest thing to heaven,
In no way would I play GOD,
But I would just be someone,
If they needed could lean upon.

I always wanted to see a shooting star, but I don’t look up in the sky that much. Plus is usually rare to see them anyway. I remember walking with my mom and we saw one fly by the in the sky, and she told me to wish for something for it is supposed to be lucky to wish for something. But sadly I don’t remember the wish or the actually year of birth I was that I did see one, so I just rule it out and not seeing one. At this point of my life and for many years I have always been this bright light of wishes for others more than for myself. I tend to make dreams comes through and bring smiles and possibilities to others life, in which I am very proud of day after day is why I happy to be a shooting star.
