IF I WERE…A FANTASY

Exactly what dreams are about,
All the thoughts streaming through our heads,
Our cravings,
Our likes,
Our desires,
Just alike,
If our wishes could be granted?
What would we wish for?
Who will unlock our doors,
Being our fantasy,
Even if it’s a mystery,
Passionate feelings,
I need you,
I only can wish that you need me.

Hmmm, a fantasy.  I have so many of those.  I think of I being a fantasy to someone else is quite hot.  That’s damn near cool.  But in what way would I want to be a fantasy or be viewed?  Can I have control of how I am seen in someone’s intimate moments of secrecy?

IF I WERE…A LIGHT POST

I watch over you are nights,
I turn on after dark,
I am creeping at my own tune,
I been ready to go on since late afternoon,
I watch your every step,
I see you,

All day

Upon walking home tonight I look up as I live in one the busiest city in the world, New York City and wondered, what if I were a light post?  I think light post see almost all our activities.  I know we have satellite that can watch our every moves, but what is all light and lamp post had a camera and was watching us.  Don’t they really see most of our day to day lives?

Q: If you were a light post, how would you be and what would be the things you would enjoy watching?

IF I WERE “BLIND”

IF I WERE…BLIND

How could I see?
Heighten senses is what I would need,
Even though I may lack one,
I do have four more,
In which can open locked doors,
For I may use my have left,
More than what you have even used yet,
I can still taste the fruits of the world,
I can feel the touch of love and get goosebumps,
I can still hear the melodies echoing in a close alley way,
I can smell the sweet scent of something I have never seen,
Forgive me for living,
I have a lot to live for,
I just want to live,
So watch me this,
So this is what you have eyes for.

I would wish no harm on even my enemies, for the blessing GOD has given us is a beautiful thing to waste.  Life itself is something to cherish and appreciate.  So using our senses, especially our eyes to see the world is one of the greatest wonders of the world.  I always wondered if I were with vision how would me life be, in which inspired me to write this post.  I really would know how to react.  I don’t have a friend or family member that is blind to ask how their life is different, in which I will reach out and try to understand the world of someone without vision for it might be truly a life lesson for myself.

IF I WERE “A RAPPER”

IF I WERE…A RAPPER

My bars would be sick,
I would call up on drake,
And trust me would make a hit,
I would travel the world and tour,
Escape conversations that are a bore,
I would be nice with my rhymes,
Because I practice them every night,
I would drop a song for ladies,
And one of the fellows,
I would be so hot fire,
I would just do things a cappella.

Seriously I considered being a rapper, but I just didn’t like the title.  So I poet that rap and rhymes is more my area.  Entertainment is my life.

I would melt hearts on paper,
In my most poetic voice,
Lines and lines of love and romance will suck you in,
You can’t escape my kinship of wordplay,
Slowly you read and decode my philosophy,
As my lifestyle reflects simply another being,
High on words and expressive in each verse,
I put you up on the game we call life,
With ounces of real to deal with and evolve,
We ball out on our accomplishments,
We overcome,
We trailblazing into a new sphere,
No one rules to adhere by,
Just free will,
Life is poetry,
Write your life words so it may exist.

Poetry is life…I would say if I were poetry I would want to contribute to the world within the style of real life events, comedy and romance.  I love to relate with others and also bring a light on important topics and share in conversation of emotions and philosophy.  Poetry is love, art, fun and happiness.  Write your life today…

It’s like another birthday,
Another celebration,
A new happiness,
Another anniversary of art, poetry and comedy.

Happy “7 Year” Anniversary here on my blog.  It’s very hard to start something so long ago and still going.  I want to just say I am blessed to still be able to create, interact and connect with people every day, every year around the world.  Thank you all for your support and appreciation for what I have created here.  After 7 years in the game, it’s only fair to say, it’s time to be “On To The Next One“…Watch out for Jixi.

CONGRATS ON MY 1,000th POST [Milestone] #Poetry #Haiku

Congrats on “1,000 Posts”

From day one I saw the mountain,
I dreamed of climbing it,
I place my feet forward,
And prepped my hands for a long climb up,
And off I went bravely into the night,
Day after day,
And created a catalog of memories,
What more can I say,
But I have tried and will keep on climbing…

I am happy to announce that I just reached my 1,000th post here on www.jixifox.me.  It’s a very exciting time for me and I just want to celebrate this achievement with you all.  It’s a proud moment to see that I have come this far and still felt like I just only started expressing myself, writing poems and comedy to entertain people across the world daily.  It’s an honor to have still be writing and reading comments from everyone who enjoy’s what I (Jixi Fox) has been putting my long nights and creativity into.

Thank you all, and I hope to see you all on another 1,000 post when we get there…

As I write this post, I want to show that it’s possible for you to make it anywhere you dreamt on reaching, by just starting and believing.  Once you have started your journey you can always look back and see the distance you have travel and be impressed.  I also want to take this time to reach out to anyone who just need someone to believe in them and may have tips to help them succeed in writing and living your life the way to like and share what’s on your mind.

IF I WERE “A STAR”

IF I WERE…A STAR

I would be a shooting star,
A special beam of light,
Only appearing in special moments,
Or moments I am called upon,
To shed some light on someone’s life,
Be a breather of fresh air to breathe in,
I would be who they look up to,
For I may just be the closest thing to heaven,
In no way would I play GOD,
But I would just be someone,
If they needed could lean upon.

I always wanted to see a shooting star, but I don’t look up in the sky that much.  Plus is usually rare to see them anyway.  I remember walking with my mom and we saw one fly by the in the sky, and she told me to wish for something for it is supposed to be lucky to wish for something.  But sadly I don’t remember the wish or the actually year of birth I was that I did see one, so I just rule it out and not seeing one.  At this point of my life and for many years I have always been this bright light of wishes for others more than for myself.  I tend to make dreams comes through and bring smiles and possibilities to others life, in which I am very proud of day after day is why I happy to be a shooting star.

I think life would be strange,
