It’s a year of celebration and pain, but insanely, I still survived. I strive in the deepest and darkest areas in life and still show up, be present, and be humble. Today I celebrate 18 years of writing & creativity on one platform, WordPress. Reaching to 18 years, I felt I raised a child to an adult. This space has helped me mentally and creatively grow, giving me an outlet for freedom of expression, for which if I were to give my space a name today, it would be called Passion.
Fun fact: I achieved this feat on September 29th, 2025, but I just didn’t have the words to express how I appreciate this platform and community for allowing me to have a voice and a space to call home. I am also so appreciative to be able to invite others into my home, to have a seat, have conversations, and have a good ol time.
“Just, remember to put things back where you found them (that’s a pet peeve of mine).”
To add a special verse for this big milestone, here is a small poem.
I spent many nights,
Writing,
Thoughts flying,
Rewrites and fights,
To find the right words,
Even though I Free Write,
To deliver of lyrics and bars,
Storytelling,
Even when the storms hasn’t calm,
I gave my everything,
To express my gifts,
To share with you,
Thank you,
For reading and listening.

On the day of this writing, the streak is still alive. From the last anniversary post, I was on an 808-day streak, and now I’m pulling up to 1,249 days. It blows my mind I am still going, growing, and being a part of this community and the creators around the world that keep me alive and on my toes.
